THEN COMES THE NIGHT were founded in 2019 in the beautiful Swabian town of Riedlingen and are one of the most interesting bands in the German Heavy Metal underground. Their debut album ‘Chapter 1’, which they self-released in 2022, caused open mouths and hot ears. Their lively mix of Power Metal, traditional Hard Rock, classic Rock 'n' Roll elements and typical musical components and structures creates a variety of sounds that you don't often get to hear. The album was enriched by guest contributions from Ralf Scheepers (PRIMAL FEAR) and Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens (KK'S PRIEST, ex ICED EARTH & JUDAS PRIEST) and even then, it was clear that singer Selin Schönbeck (WE ARE LEGEND) had nothing to hide behind these scene greats. The second album ‘Start The Change’ followed at the end of 2023 and was the logical successor of the debut album. It gave THEN COMES THE NIGHT the opportunity to play many shows at home and abroad and to expand their fan base. It also brought the band a deal with Metalapolis Records.

The twelve new songs on ‘Metal World’ once again follow the band's proven formula. They know how to present themselves and the songs in the best possible light. As always, the new songs are of the highest quality and more catchy than their predecessors. Nevertheless, the album is heavier and darker. The boys and girl around songwriter, producer and exceptional singer Selin Schönbeck are now so self-confident that guest stars and cover versions have been dispensed with. After having had a good experience with the anthem ‘Bis Ins Alter’, a homage to their favorite brewery Zwiefalter Klosterbräu, they are even brave enough to not only put a song with German lyrics on the album with ‘Wie In Stein’, but also to release it as the second single.

While ‘Start The Change’ was just the beginning, THEN COMES THE NIGHT's ‘Metal World’ impressively shows that the sky is the limit and that the future definitely belongs to them!
